Collaboration to build financial resilience of charities
Community organisations are dealing with immense disruption right now. Building financial resilience and long-term sustainability is an important part of navigating through this uncertainty.
This is why Ecstra is partnering with The Funding Network to offer free pitch-coaching workshops to our extended community.
These workshops aim to develop and coach leaders to adapt to the ever-changing funding environment and to support the financial future of charities.
TFN has coached over a thousand non-profit leaders and social entrepreneurs to pitch with purpose and passion, securing almost $14 million to fund social change programs.
TFN’s Pitch Coaching workshops offer training to participants to:
Develop a powerful narrative and case for financial support
Harness story to deepen connections with funders, supporters, communities
Learn practical and simple tools to to plan and authentically deliver a pitch
Ecstra Foundation CEO, Caroline Stewart supports this initiative saying: “With so many demands on charities during this period, TFN workshops provide community leaders with practical tools and skills for storytelling and fundraising. This helps build the financial capacity of their organisations and provides an opportunity to share outcomes with sector peers.”
Julie McDonald, CEO of The Funding Network welcomes this new collaboration saying: “Fundraising is a key aspect of sustainability for charities. In times of uncertainty, it is even more important for organisations to be clear on their mission, and to build a network of supporters who believe in their cause. These workshops are designed to help leaders use their organisation’s story to amplify the impact of their mission, and diversify their funding across public donations, corporate support and community advocacy.”
