Our approach to grant making

Ecstra Foundation supports organisations working to improve the financial wellbeing of Australians across our impact areas of financial education, consumer care and strong communities.

Ecstra has run open grant rounds as well as proactively sourcing partnerships to help achieve our mission, to grow the capacity of our partner organisations, to develop new approaches and scale successful initiatives.

Previous grant rounds included women's economic security, community foundations, older Australians, rapid response funding for consumer facing organisations to navigate the immediate responses to the pandemic, and addressing the financial capability needs of diverse communities.

Funding principles and grant guidelines

Ecstra is currently working with over 40 grant partners, most on a multi year basis. We are not accepting unsolicited applications at this time, however, we are always happy to answer financial capability and general enquiries. Please sign up below to receive updates.
