What we do

Ecstra focuses on three impact areas to ensure more people can make informed money decisions today, and are confident planning their financial future.

Equip

We provide financial education and capability initiatives in schools, workplaces and communities to address the national financial education gap and deliver money lessons for life.

Connect

Our grants connect people to resources and expertise to help build financial knowledge, confidence and capability in their communities. We collaborate with others to deliver accessible, scalable initiatives.

Influence

We work in alliances to share data, insights and approaches. We advocate for the crucial role of financial wellbeing in overall health, to influence policy settings and drive systems change.

Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation

Learning about money is a lifelong journey.

Our flagship financial literacy program, Talk Money with Ecstra Foundation, is a free national program designed to help Australian school students learn money lessons for life, to be confident talking about money, and to make informed financial decisions.

Talk Money ensures more Australian students have access to effective money lessons and guidance when they need it. It is the largest school based financial education program in Australia.

Talk Money offers facilitator led workshops for Years 5-10 students and additional resources to reinforce learning and key concepts in class and at home. Watch the video to learn more.
