Consumer Credit Law Centre

The Consumer Credit Law Centre of South Australia (CCLCSA) is the first of its kind in the state and focuses on helping people to resolve consumer credit problems including debt, hardship, credit law issues involving disputes with creditors, bankruptcy, mortgage stress, inability to negotiate payment plans and conduct by creditors.


Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA)

As a not-for-profit charitable organization, Consumer Credit Legal Service (WA) Inc. provides legal advice and representation to WA consumers, in credit, banking and finance sectors.


Consumer Law Centre

The CLC is a non-profit government-funded community legal centre that provides ACT clients with free legal advice and representation in the areas of consumer credit (mortgages, credit cards and personal loans), debt recovery, banking, simple contracts, general fair trading and consumer protection.

Headspace

headspace is Australia’s National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. Mind and Money aims to assist young people in navigating financial stress through videos, online resources and support services.


Health Justice Australia

Health Justice Australia is a national charity that helps health, legal and social services work together to better support people with complex and intersecting needs. By working together, health and legal practitioners can address the health-harming legal problems many people face, and redesign how services are delivered to those who need them most.


Mission Australia

Mission Australia’s Financial Wellbeing Service aims to help people make informed and responsible financial decisions. Support is provided through financial counselling, emergency relief, and advocacy programs.


National Tax Clinics

The National Tax Clinic program is an independent, Australian Government-funded initiative that provides free tax advice and support to eligible taxpayers facing financial, social or personal challenges.

Tax clinics operate across Australia. Support is provided by university and TAFE students, under the guidance of qualified tax professionals.

UNSW Tax & Business Advisory Clinic

UNSW Tax & Business Advisory Clinic provides free, independent and confidential tax advice and business support, by appointment only. They have outreach locations across Sydney and also offer phone appointments depending on your circumstances and location.


Redfern Legal Centre

Redfern Legal Centre’s (RLC) Financial Abuse Legal Service NSW provides support to victim-survivors of financial abuse with free and confidential advice.

Thriving Communities Australia

Thriving Communities Australia is a not for profit organisation that enables collaboration across multiple sectors. The One Stop One Story Hub is a world-first cross-sector platform enabling frontline workers in corporate and community organisations to connect and refer their customers to a range of support through an innovative, streamlined system.

With the OSOS Hub, individuals experiencing domestic and family violence or financial hardship can share their story once, and gain access to comprehensive, wrap-around support from multiple service providers.

Welfare Rights Centre is a community legal centre specialising in social security and family assistance law, helping people navigate issues with Centrelink.

Wesley Mission’s financial wellbeing services include emergency financial assistance, financial counselling and gamble aware.


Westjustice

Westjustice provides free legal help to people in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The Restoring Financial Safety project is an integrated multi-disciplinary services partnership with McAuley Community Services. The service provides legal advice, financial counselling, support and advocacy for women who have experienced economic abuse and other forms of family violence.
